The last year has seen Alive Events Agency go from strength to strength.
With founder and director, Antony Hampel at the wheel and a specialist team of experience makers in tow, the Australian event planner has closed the book on a dynamic 2019, with big things planned for 2020.
Hampel says 2019 was not only an eventful year for Alive Events, but one that saw the event management agency expand their horizons and diversify even further. He said developing loyalty and expanding opportunities for their clients was key.
“It was great to see our global agency footprint expand” shared Ant Hampel. The event planner this year managed to secure events and grow their connections with new clients in Russia, Singapore, and the United Kingdom.
And while 2019 saw the return of a number of clients from the tech, government, finance and leisure sectors, this time, it was all about pushing the boundaries and exceeding expectations. “It’s something that’s always on our radar,” Hampel says, “how can we go against the status quo to deliver real, tangible experiences for our clients and their audiences?”
The agency also welcomed a new Associate Producer to their talented team in 2019. Will Morton bought with him an extensive and diverse portfolio of experience in festival production and council events.
“Will has a meticulous eye for detail.” Ant Hampel says his company prides themselves on their high standards. “It’s a highly competitive industry. Our team are not only talented experts in their field, they’re innovators,” he continues.
“[At Alive] we have a strong collaborative culture. When it comes to problem solving, creative, ideation, all the way through to pitching; our team are the contributors and our clients are the collaborators. It’s always been our approach,” Hampel says.
The event planners Melbourne and Sydney offices work seamlessly to offer their clients a flexible, high performing service. “We work together. There’s a real team ethos. Only this way are we able to deliver our clients truly unparalleled, scalable events with a nimble approach,” Antony Hampel communicates.
And they truly delivered on this ethos, partnering with some of the world’s biggest names in 2019.
A new partnership with Russian software developer, JetBrains has offered the event planning company the opportunity to demonstrate their unique, scalable and nimble approach to event design. The tech giant is due to touch down in Australia in 2020, with Alive on board to deliver a series of dynamic events across the east coast.
And the events and experiencess are sure to be nothing less than brilliant. Alive’s multi-faceted activation at the Printex Expo last year won them the accolade of ‘Best Activation’. “Taking on a challenging project both creatively and technically underpinned our core value of ‘anything is possible’“ said Ant Hampel when describing the team’s HP Print Division project at Printex.
“We want to be constantly transcending the limits. We never want to be vanilla,” says Hampel about his team’s philosophy. “We work flexible hours, so we offer that flexibility to our clients. We’re problem solvers. We’re creators.”
So what’s in store for the event planning agency in 2020? Their global roster has expanded, so we can expect to see some exceptional activations at events for clients from Singapore, England, India. An exciting new partnership with entertainment giants, Apollo World Touring, will see the event planner create a fresh, new experience for the Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix in Melbourne.
